Township Updates

The Township offices will remain closed to the public through May 15, 2020.  We will continue to follow State and National guidelines, and will open to the public as soon as possible.  Our offices are staffed daily and can be reached at 856-461-1460 or by email as found on our website http://www.riversidetwp.org/government/

Please see the following updates:

2nd Quarter Taxes and Sewer – payments are due no later than May 10th for taxes and May 31st for sewer.  The Township has no jurisdiction to extend the statutory tax due date and, as previous announced, the State has frozen the Homestead Rebate so there are no credits to the 2nd quarter taxes.
You can make payments in one of three ways:
·      via mail – PO Box 188 Riverside, NJ 08075
·      via drop box at 237 S. Pavilion Avenue

Animal Licenses – the due date for animal licenses has been extended to May 1, 2020.  You can make payment in one of two ways:
·      via mail – PO Box 188 Riverside, NJ 08075
·      via drop box at 237 S. Pavilion Avenue
If required, please ensure that current rabbies vaccination information is included with the payment.  We will mail your license to you.

Solid Waste Collection – curbside collection of bulk items has been suspended due to COVID-19.  We will give an update on the ongoing situation as frequently as possible, so please check back.  All other solid waste collection services will continue as normal.  If you have any questions regarding solid waste, please email mjack@riversidetwp.org

Zoning & Construction Permits – the Zoning and Construction Office continues to operate.  All forms and documents must be submitted via mail or the drop box (as noted above) and we will not perform inspections of any occupied properties.  If you have any questions regarding zoning and/or construction, please email mjack@riversidetwp.org

Police & Public Works - Our Police and Public Works Departments continue to work at this time.  Please visit the PD social media for recommended guidelines on reporting incidents.  The Public Works Department is currently collecting leaves and branches at this time. Please place all items curbside per the instructions on our website http://www.riversidetwp.org/public-works-schedule/

Should you have any other questions regarding Township services at this time, please contact Meghan Jack, Township Administrator, at mjack@riversidetwp.org or 856-461-1460 x4.  Please remember that social distancing is the best thing you can do for yourself and your community at this time.  We will get through this together.  Be well and safe!
