The Township is seeking to
assist homes in need of repair.
In September,
the Township of Riverside will once again be applying to the New Jersey
Department of Community Affairs for Small Cities Community Development
Block Grant funds to help more Riverside homeowners with their needed home
repairs. Eligible homeowners can receive an interest free loan up to an anticipated $20,000 in repairs or replacements of sub-standard major home
systems such as roof, electric, plumbing, heating, foundation, windows,
lead based paint hazard remediation and more.
The
Burlington County Bridge Commission, on behalf of Riverside, has retained Community
Grants, Planning & Housing, LLC, (CGP&H) to prepare the application to
the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
For Riverside to qualify for these
federal funds, it is imperative to demonstrate eligible homeowners’ interest
and housing repair needs.
If your home needs the above types of
improvements, please visit CGP&H’s website at https://hip.cgph.net/riverside-township-housing-rehabilitation-program/ for more program information, including
