Solid Waste Update

Starting tomorrow, we will begin our transition to the automated solid waste collection.  We understand that this is a new process, so the hauler will be working to ease the transition over this first month.  All properties should have received their Township issued cart.  If you did not, please contact Meghan Jack at mjack@riversidetwp.org or 856-461-1460 x4 immediately.

It has also come to our attention over the past several days, that carts have been disappearing from residences.  Please note that each cart is assigned to an address and we will be actively tracking the missing carts.  If you are found to have an additional cart(s) for which we have no receipt of payment, action can be taken by the Township.

As previous stated, all solid waste must be placed within the cart for collection and one bulk item may be placed next to the cart for collection each week. If you are in need of an additional cart, one can be purchased through the Township at a cost of $65. Please contact Township Administrator Meghan Jack at 856-461-1460 x4 or mjack@riversidetwp.org. An invoice will be sent to you and the cart delivered to you after payment of said invoice is received. We will also take requests for smaller carts, but will require that the 96 gallon carts be used first to ensure that a smaller can will suit your household needs. Please contact Township Administrator Meghan Jack at 856-461-1460 x4 or mjack@riversidetwp.org for those requests as well.
