County Testing Update

 

Burlington County is modifying the testing hours at the Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) campus beginning March 1st. The new hours will be:

 

Tuesdays – 9am – 12pm

Wednesday – 12pm – 4pm

Thursday – 9am – 12pm

 

No appointment is needed for testing. Testing is open to symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals. If an individual has insurance, their insurance information will be collected but the test is free of charge to the individual and they will not be billed.

 

First responder priority testing will still be available from 8am-9am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

SOLID WASTE UPDATE

The solid waste collection scheduled for Friday February 19, 2021 will still take place as scheduled.

SOLID WASTE ANNOUNCEMENT

The solid waste collection services scheduled for Thursday February 18, 2021 have been postponed to Friday February 19, 2021 due to the inclement weather.

The recycle collection scheduled for Wednesday February 3rd has been pushed to Thursday February 4th. SOLID WASTE COLLECTION ALERT

 SOLID WASTE COLLECTION ALERT:


We have just received communication from Waste Management that the solid waste collection scheduled for Tuesdays has been cancelled and will now be collected on Wednesday. Waste Management will move from the Tuesday collection route right into the Wednesday collection route on Wednesday, so we ask that all residents place their cart(s) at the curbline for their regularly scheduled day beginning tomorrow after 4 p.m. If necessary, the solid waste collection will be completed on Saturday.

Last Call for Leaves!

Last Call for Leaves. All leaves must be placed at the curbline by 6:00 a.m. on Monday January 11, 2021 for collection. This will be the last opportunity to have leaves collected curbside prior to the Spring Leaf Collection. As always, leaves may be brought into the PW garage on the fourth Saturday of each month between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Christmas Trees

 Christmas Tree Collections:


Public Works will collect all natural Christmas Trees through January 22, 2021. Trees must be placed at the curbline and all lights, ornaments, decorations and stands must be removed in order to be eligible for collection. Flocked and artificial trees will not be collected by Public Works and must be placed at the curbline for collection with your solid waste. Please, as always, do not burn any trees, as open burning of Christmas trees is not permitted under the Codes of the Township of Riverside.
